Our Android app may request certain permissions from your device to function correctly. Rest assured that we only request essential permissions necessary for the proper functioning of the app. We do not misuse these permissions to access or collect any personal information from your device.
Local Storage: All data is stored locally on your device. We do not maintain external servers to store your personal information.
Retention and Backups: Your data is retained on your device as long as the app is installed. Please note that the Android operating system may automatically back up application data to your private Google Drive account to allow for data restoration upon reinstallation. These backups are managed by Google and are subject to your Google Account’s retention policies (typically deleted after 57 days of inactivity).
Data Deletion: You can permanently delete your data by clearing the application cache/data in your device settings or by disabling "Backup" in your Google Account settings.
Calories In does not require a user account to function. Since no account is created and no personal data is stored on our servers, there is no account to delete. All application data remains under the user's control on their local device.
We prioritize the security of your information. Since Calories In operates entirely locally on your device, the security of your data is protected by your device's own security features (such as encryption and screen locks). We do not transmit your data over the internet, which eliminates the risk of server-side data breaches or unauthorized remote access.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to ensure compliance with relevant laws and to reflect any changes in our data practices. Whenever we make changes to this policy, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
